Sunrise Aviation is based in the city of Nelspruit, Mpumalanga Province, South Africa. KMIA is our closest Airport.

Where are you based ?
The nearest International Airport is Johannesburg International Airport with connecting flights to the nearest Local Airports - being Nelspruit, Skukuza (Kruger National Park) or Eastgate - Hoedspruit.

What helicopter do you operate?
Sunrise Aviation operates mainly Bell jet ranger helicopters. Bell Helicopters are recognized as world leaders in the Helicopter Industry and their aircraft are renowned for their safety and reliability.

How many passengers can one helicopter take?
A Jet ranger has 4 seats plus the pilot, with a limited luggage allowance.

However the aircraft has a Maximum All Up Weight Allowance and we reserve the right limit the seat occupation or refuse to carry individuals over 120kgs. 

Are there any age restrictions?
There are no age restrictions and children under 3 years of age can be flown on a lap.
